The sphere I chose was a "snub dodecahedron"
I started at the most centralized face and worked my way, folding and gluing radially in a helix pattern.
With my workflow I was able to avoid any problems and closed it fairly cleanly using the professional loctite adhesive; seen here with the other three sculptures from the day.
