due to the size this is a 1/4 scale model in styrene
once designed i modeled a base or pattern model which i use to create the prototype
modeled the base in solid works and then imported into rhino where i section the model
and prepped the file to be sent to the laser cutter lab techs
laser cut out of chipboard and glued and assembled
a little bit of sanding, some bondo, and priming
and a final dry sand at 320
