Ashley Wood: Eye Monster

This is my Eye Monster sculpture. It was 3d scanned and brought into an obj. file. It is opened here in Maya.

Ashley Wood: Laser Engraving

This is the first project we did in class. I really like all the possibilities that this process allows. this was on 300 pound watercolor paper and made in Rhino.

Ashley Wood: Final Project

This is a spin off of the first project we did. The laser engraving was my favorite process we used in the class. This is on 300 pound watercolor paper and made in Rhino.

Ashley Wood: Geometric Unfolding

This is the geometric form I downloaded to laser cut. I did the layering and line adjustments in Illustrator and then brought it into Rhino.

Ashley Wood: Pepakura

This is a form I did in Maya. My focus for this project was to make a complex form with both mountain and valley lines so I could learn the Pepakura process.

Ashley Wood: Serial Slice Project

This is my serial slicing project. I was inspired by stones and bonsai trees. The form was made in Rhino. I liked the form I was working with to I decided to scale it down. I separated the form and deleted one of the cores so I could make earrings.
