Nicole Wallace- CNC Milliing

After printing my CNC piece I made a mold of it to be able to reproduce it, in many different materials. I wanted to show how a simple geometric and organic pattern can be used to make many different works of art. These are some of the techniques I used, the image to the right is vacuum forms of my milled piece and below are plastic castings I am going to use to make a lamp out of.

ct I used my plaster castings to create 2 panels of work one demonstrating entrapment and the other space and empowerment. I used acrylic paints to enhance its texture. They will be hanging pieces when completed.
